Without the pressure of a promise, my hope is to catalog here what I read in 2023 and what I thought of it.

Maybe I’ll even take a day or two to catalog what I have already read?

Or list the enormous stack of “works to read,” with a simple invitation: read with me when it suits you.

Remembering what my high school and college aged LiveJournal and my undergraduate Twitter feed used to feel like, this seems like a pretty important re-emergent moment to capture the currents that sweep across our ordinary lives here in Rome.
